SACRED HOME This piece sits by The Serpent Mound in Ohio, USA. Far from being a symbol of fear, one recent theory connects this enigmatic earthwork to the sun, moon, and stars (specifically, to the constellation Draco, The Great Dragon). It has been discovered that the bends in the snakelike body align with solar and lunar cycles. One idea is the mound may have been an effort on the part of ancient peoples to create a creature that literally was an embodiment of the sun and moon — a creature composed of captured and radiating light.

COLORS The colors brown, black and green together represent qualities of mother earth with her fertile humus, new life and health, and spiritual maturity. These colors especially support chakras 1 (life), and 4 (love).

STONE ATTRIBUTES The stones are red tiger eye, black onyx, and green goldstone. Other significant numbers are 1, 3, 4, and 11. Each side has 28 stones (which reduces to 1) and the necklet as a whole has 56 (11) stones. The stones are in multiples of 3, 4, and 5. In combination, these numbers represent the human process of creativity and manifestation with spiritual consciousness.
