Polaris, also known as the North Star, is the brightest star in the Ursa Minor, the smaller bear, constellation.

There also are 16 small deep blue turquoise stones. In addition, there are seven pearls attached to seven pieces of chain (six hanging in front and one by the clasp). Each piece of chain has seven links.
