Polaris: Breath

Polaris, also known as the North Star, is the brightest star in the Ursa Minor, the smaller bear, constellation.

The special stones in this necklace are hemimorphite as both round and rectangular shapes. Hemimorphite is connected to activating light. As such, it assists us in integrating more light into our lives and the lives of those around us. Polaris which is also called the North Star serves as a guide for travelers. It is also associated with fresh thinking, inspiration, and vision.

The design of the necklace is linked to the number seven. Seven, as in the seven-pointed star, is a mystical number. It is also the number of introspection and inner wisdom. If we begin with the pearls at the back, there are 16 (1 + 6 = 7) on each side. Next, there are 16 round and rectangular hemimorphite stones (1 + 6 = 7). There also are 16 small deep blue turquoise stones. In addition, there are seven pearls attached to seven pieces of chain (six hanging in front and one by the clasp). Each piece of chain has seven links.
