Sirius is also known as the Dog Star and is the brightest star in the constellation Canis Major or The Greater Dog.

The special stones in this necklace are green garnet, pink chalcedony, and kunsite. Green garnet is associated with manifesting abundance and prosperity. Pink chalcedony is associated with inner calm and centeredness. Kunzite is associated with having a high capacity for wisdom and understanding. Together, they are a nice complement. The design of the necklace is linked to the number seven on many levels both physical and metaphysical. Seven, as in the seven-pointed star, is a mystical number. If we add the green garnet to the six pink chalcedony stones we get another 7. There are seven pearls attached to seven pieces of chain (six hanging in front and one by the clasp). Each piece of chain has seven links.
