Essential for Life,
Water has many faces.
As both friend and foe.

Duplexity
Can’t live without it.
Yet, some weather makes water
The adversary.

Disaster
Unprecedented.
Raging waters, unconfined,
Wiped out roads and towns.

Difference
Gently flowing waters
Wear away millions of years
Of stable, hard rock.
