My intuition tells me (or perhaps it’s the angels), that it might be useful to draw a comparison between my experience with the Healing Stones and science’s proposition about our place in space. If you are challenged to entertain the ‘reality’ of The Healing Stones story, consider the following.
Scientific sources say that we’re traveling with the sun at somewhere around 720,000 km/hr or 448,000 mph (Space.com). At the same time, the earth is rotating on its axis at 1000 mph at the equator (Scientific American). Or to look at it another way, there’s the speed that the galaxy, which carries us along, is moving: 2,100,000 km/h or 1,300,000 mph (NASA). The numbers are so massive that it doesn’t really matters which ones are literally accurate.
With all of that speed, I don’t feel a thing. I don’t notice the motion through any of my senses. I don’t hear it, see it, smell it, or taste it. Nothing. I know there is a scientific explanation for why we don’t sense the motion. It has to do with us being at a constant speed. Nonetheless, I have nothing in my experience that points to the concept of us whirling through space at these enormous speeds. If I agree to accept science’s proposition, I must do it because I trust the credibility of the sources. And, perhaps even more, I must accept on faith because, having no concrete evidence of my own, and quite to the contrary, it all seems like magic to me!
So it is with The Healing Stones and their Light.
The original StoneCircles collection emerged as 4 groups of 11. Thus, when The Celestial Rays began to come forth, I assumed there would again be 11. But then there were 12. How did I know to add a 12th one? I have no memory of how that happened. When I asked why 12 and listened deeply, I received this response: “There are 12 rays because the circumference of the earth is 360º. 12 divides evenly into 360º. Aha! The rays surround the earth just as the StoneCircles do but in the other direction. The Celestial Rays are longitudinal, at 30º intervals, from pole to pole, while the StoneCircles form a song through the middle latitudes of the earth.
Though the rays revolve around the sun right along with the earth, they do not rotate with the earth like The StoneCircles do. The StoneCircles are on the earth. They move with it. The rays, on the other hand, are stationary in the atmosphere above the earth. Except they also move with the earth as She spirals around the sun. Nonetheless, while the rays are stationary relative to the earth, to us, they appear to be moving, rotating around the earth – just like the sun appears to rise in the east and set in the west. Thus, every 24 hours, as the earth rotates, the rays radiate their Light to everything and everyone on the planet.
