Arcturus is a northern springtime star in the constellation Boötes the Herdsman.

The special stone in this necklace is larimar  (blue like the Caribbean Sea). It is found only in the Dominican Republic. Larimar is a healing stone and is connected to the heart, throat, third-eye, and crown chakras. Its star, Arcturus, aligns with Larimar’s chakras, as an emotional, mental, and spiritual healer for humanity.

Everything in the design of this necklace is linked to the number seven. Seven, as in the seven-pointed star, is a mystical number. It is also the number of introspection and inner wisdom. If we begin with the pearls at the back, there are 16 (1 + 6 = 7) on each side. Next, there are 16 (1 + 6 = 7) oval and round stones as follows: seven on each side of the necklace (14) + two by the clasp (14 + 2 = 16 = 7). There are seven pearls attached to seven pieces of chain (six hanging in front and one by the clasp). Each piece of chain has seven links. Finally, there are a total of 33 (3 + 3 = 6) pearls integrated with the round and oval stones. Take that 6 and add the larimar drop that is in the center of the necklace (6 + 1 + 7).
