Rigel, a beautiful blue-white star and one of the brightest in the night sky, is in the constellation Orion The Hunter.

The special stone in this necklace is the tektite drop. It is associated with meteorite impacts. Tektite is connected with communication that goes beyond words and sound and into the realms of enhancing psychic abilities. Rigel is actually a double star and is about spiritual growth and connection to Spirit.

The design is linked to the number seven as an important number in the composition of this necklace. Seven, as in the seven-pointed star, is a mystical number. It is also the number of introspection and inner wisdom. If we begin with the pearls at the back, there are 16 (1 + 6 = 7) on each side (including the one next to the first ovals). If we add the tektite drop to the six pyrite ovals, it equals 7. There are seven pearls attached to seven pieces of chain (six hanging in front and one by the clasp).
